A pair of figurative bookends depicting reading women. The young girls are shown in a sitting position, leaning their backs against the wall. They complemented their long dresses with high hennins with freely falling veils. Focused on the books they held in their hands, they were completely immersed in the reading they were reading. The whole thing was placed on simple, stone bases.
