HANGING LAMP, brass, glass, 19th century

Hanging lamp. The large, central lampshade is topped with a metal rim filled with a frieze with a floral flagellum. The structure is suspended on a frame with a smooth, floral line, from which four short arms end with conical shades extend. The old lampshades have a sculptural form inspired by acanthus leaves.
