A unique secretary, inlaid in a very interesting way. The furniture is signed in several places, the signatures are visible in the photos. Fantastic inlays, of different thickness. The upper doors have a movable, rolled-up structure. It has thick, hand-cut veneers.
Description
Two drawers have lockable compartments, one has an inkwell, and there is also a hidden place for valuables behind one of the drawers.
The drawers are probably secondary, replaced in the 19th century. This is a unique piece of furniture, which is due both to its age and the craftsmanship.
Oak wood veneered with exotic and European fruit species.
It has a top that is cracked in two pieces.
