A beautiful table in the style of Louis XVI made by the famous Parisian Escalier de Cristal factory, operating in the years 1802-1923. The table has fluted legs and all decorations are made of solid, carved wood. The whole piece of furniture is covered with traditional flake gilding on the pulment. Marble table top.

Louis XVI style, Escalier de Cristal, Paris, 19th century

Escalier de Cristal (1802-1923) - the company was founded by Marie Desarnaud, producing the highest quality furniture and art objects designed by world-famous designers. She made, among others the famous dressing table for the Duchess de Berry, that is Karolina Bourbon-Sicilian, daughter of Francis I Bourbon, king of Sicily. This piece of furniture is located today in the Louvre in Paris and is a top-class example of a piece of furniture in the Charles X style.

Height 73 cm, length 65 cm, width 49 cm. The state of preservation is visible in the photos. The wood is in very good condition, there are gildings / chips, and two rosettes are missing. The table top has traces of repair / gluing.
