Signature: J. Ambroise, 1889
Jules Francois Achille Ambroise (1817-1919) - French painter and student of Henri Harpignies. He specialized in landscape painting, drawing inspiration from rural landscapes. He exhibited his works at the Art Salons in the years 1879-1896.
