Description
A pair of beautiful decanters made in the famous Victor Saglier factory in Paris. The glass inserts are covered with metal fittings, with very organic, floral ornaments. A set designed by the outstanding designer of the Art Nouveau era, Louis Majorelle. Majorelle had furniture and metallurgy workshops, where furniture, fittings, and lamps were created, while his designs in the field of goldsmithing and haberdashery were made by the goldsmith house of Victor Saglier, with whom Majorelle collaborated in the early years of the 20th century. The last photo shows a catalog of products from 1900-1903, the model of the decanter visible as the third in the upper right corner.
