Württembergische Metallwarnfabrik - a German factory operating from 1880 to the present day. Founded by Daniel Straub, at the beginning of the 20th century it became the largest metalworking tycoon. It signed its works with a running ostrich inscribed in a rhombus or a frame closed by a semicircle. This animal was the heraldic symbol of the Straub family. Individual, high-class works brought the company a number of awards, including the Grand Prix at exhibitions in Paris in 1900 and Turin in 1902.

Spoon length: 15.5cm

Napkin holder dimensions: 6cm (height) x 5.5cm (width)

Condition: good.

An individual set for a child consisting of a cup, napkin holder and spoon. The solid vessels received animal figures on the handles: a rooster, a rabbit and a dog. The whole thing was placed in a padded case.
