Württembergische Metallwarnfabrik, a German manufacture operating from 1880 to the present day. Founded by Daniel Straub, it became the largest metalwork tycoon at the beginning of the 20th century. It signed its works with a running ostrich inscribed in a rhombus or a frame closed with a semicircle. This animal was the heraldic mark of the Straub family. The individual, high-end works brought the company a number of awards, including the Grand Prix at the Paris exhibitions in 1900 and Turin in 1902.
