U KRAWCOWA, signed, wood, Art Nouveau, circa 1900

A sculpture depicting a woman getting dressed. The excess of material and the incompletely defined cut of the outfit make it possible to situate the protagonist in the space of a tailor's atelier, while trying on her dream dress. The woman presents a hairstyle typical of the turn of the century, typical of the so-called Gibson Girl.

Art Nouveau, around 1900

Signed A. Maschek (?).

Height: 41.5 cm.
