Victor Paillard (1805-1886) - French sculptor and founder. He studied with Jean-Francois Deniere and became a collaborator of the famous Ferdinand Barbedienne. In 1830, he opened his own factory, which employed almost a hundred people in the middle of the century. Paillard's factory carries out many prestigious orders, including decorative furnishings for the seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1855, Paillard was on the jury of the Paris World Exhibition. For his merits, he was awarded the Order of the Legion of Honor.
