The imposing bronze sculpture shows a young woman crossing a bridge over a stream (French: Passage du ruisseau). The woman is dressed in a traditional outfit with a bustle-free corset popular at the end of the 19th century, and has a bonnet (Breton?) The French sculptor showed the everyday scene gracefully. A cheerful girl, crossing the bridge, looks down towards the water. A
