CHAIR, walnut, 17th century

Wooden chair. The structure rises on four legs reinforced with an H-shaped joint. Front decorative legs - with an elongated ankle, angular tapers on onion-shaped feet - with woodcarving. Back legs straight, angular. Backrest slightly tilted back with ground clearance. The backboard is filled with grotesque. Simple upper stile.

17th century (early baroque).
