A vase with a simple handle that allows it to be hooked onto a balustrade.anIt was given a cylindrical shape, narrowing towards the bottom.
The plated setting was finished with a stepped pinnacle. Andthe fluted, openwork body supports geometric panels, referring to the polished cross-section of the vessel.

Orivit - a manufacturer of artistic silver and pewter products. Founded by Ferdinand Hubert Schmitz, in the late 19th century in Cologne. In 1900 it received a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris. Five years later it was taken over by WMF. Thanks to the use of high-quality pewter called "Orivit - Metall" and "Orivit - Silber - Zinn", the products of this manufacturer enjoyed wide recognition.
