Description
The Norblin Plating Plant - the history of the factory dates back to 1820, when Aleksander Jan Konstanty Norblin and his partner founded the "Norblin and Company" bronze factory. In 1834, the company was moved to Chłodna Street. In the 1840s, the factory won an award in St. Petersburg and was modernized (including the purchase of a galvanizing machine). In 1865, Ludwik Norblin became the owner, buying the metal products factory from his father. The following decades of the second half of the 19th century were marked by changes and increased production. The new Norblin company established at the end of the 19th century was to become the largest plate factory in Warsaw.
