FRENCH SABER MODEL 1821, 19th century
French saber, pattern 1821. It belonged to an infantry officer, on the main monogram of the owner. The saber has a unique custom-made blade that uses a variety of metalworking techniques.
Leather scabbard with brass fittings. Horn handle shank. Blade made of chained damask, etched and polished.
