CRUCIFIX WITH THE FRUIT OF SIN, stained wood, 19th century

A slender crucifix with a round cross-section. The passion of Christ was placed on his shoulders.

The upper part of the vertical spar shows a scroll-shaped tablet with the Latin acronym INRI. The lower part is mounted on a ball representing a snake eating the symbolic fruit of sin.

The whole is placed on a cylindrical plinth.
