A PAIR OF FRAMES, wood, velvet, silver, 19th century

A pair of rectangular frames with concave-convex edges. In a wide panel lined with velvet, there is an oval pattern for a photo.

It is surrounded by an openwork border depicting a regency grille, decorated with winding volute flows. It was enriched with subtle flowers and pearls.

The whole is crowned with a heraldic cartouche, enabling the new owner to be applied with a monogram.
