YOUNG TIGERS, alabaster, 1920s

A sculpture depicting two young tigers on a rock. The shot of animals is characterized by strong expression, which is enhanced by inlaid glass eyes. An interesting procedure is the suggestion of tiger fur colors, rendered by the color of the stone.
