+ PATERA - Japanese basket, gilded bronze, France, 2nd half of the 19th century

An interesting plate - a basket made in a style reminiscent of products from the country of cherry blossoms. A small bird sits on a handle in the form of a branch with fruit. The bottom of the plate resembles a large, slightly curled leaf. Everything is engraved with floral patterns.
