CLOCK WITH BARS, gilded wood, first half of the 19th century 19th century

A mantel clock with a round face in a symmetrical, classicist frame.

It was mounted on a rectangular pedestal with a meandering strip decoration. It is flanked by two winged griffins, whose paws are similar to the lower stylized sea waves.

The whole was topped with a wide palmette.
